Bringing Clarity to Food Safety During Pregnancy
During pregnancy, food choices can become overwhelming. Conflicting advice, scattered information, and well-meaning but confusing recommendations leave many expecting parents feeling uncertain at the grocery store.
HoneyBee was created to change that. The HoneyBee Pregnancy Food Safety Standard (HB-PFSS) is a structured framework that evaluates food products based on pregnancy-specific safety considerations.
By turning complex science into a clear, trustworthy seal, HoneyBee helps expecting parents make confident choices — and gives food producers a meaningful way to show they care.

Vision
A world where pregnancy is experienced with freedom, clarity, and peace of mind.

Mission
To bring clarity and confidence to pregnancy food choices through a transparent, science-based evaluation standard for food products.

Why I created HoneyBee
HoneyBee was born from my own experience as an expecting mother.
I remember standing in the supermarket aisle, phone in hand, trying to figure out which foods were truly safe during pregnancy. Every search led to conflicting advice, confusing guidelines, and more questions than answers.
The uncertainty — and the quiet fear of making the wrong choice — turned everyday grocery shopping into something stressful. Over time, I stuck to the same ‘safe’ foods and realized countless other parents were facing the exact same struggle.
That’s when the idea behind HoneyBee took shape: what if there were a simple, trustworthy way to know which foods are safe during pregnancy?
The respect and protection of woman and of maternity should be raised to the position of an inalienable social duty and should become one of the principles of human morality.
